I printed the first three two months ago and the last two today so they're a tad different in contrast. Also, I should just shoot in film all the time because it makes me feel so much better. But although film is great and stuff, scanning is the worst thing and you can see an silhouette of my fingers in most of these. Thanks to Lilja for modeling. And LucyDucy for makeup.

Hah, so I never really found an excuse for not taking photos. I mean, I have been taking photos, but they're all just candids of friends and stuff. Not expanding my photography or anything. But I guess it's okay, because it's my senior year and I'd rather capture memories right now. I keep telling myself that I'll shoot some new things but the truth is that I don't have any ideas and the passion isn't there right now. I don't really know what passions I have right now. I'm not writing, I'm not taking photos, I'm not really thinking on a regular basis. I kind of just sit on my bed and watch movies and all my thoughts are revolved around that. I don't know, maybe I'm in a funk and I need to find a way out of it.

Anyways, these are some film photos from September to December. I haven't shot any film since then because I thought I lost my camera. . . . (The ones of me are shot by Becca)

we went on a journey to grandmother's

I really liked this shoot when it was still just an idea in my head and when it was in the canister and when they were just negatives. Now, though, as actual printed photos, I don't like it as much. And I think that has a lot to do with style and how my style seems to be "oh let's dress up these cute kids and make them play make believe and it's all cute and everything" and I think that I don't want to be so "cute" with my photography but it just ends up looking like it in the end.
