Hah, so I never really found an excuse for not taking photos. I mean, I have been taking photos, but they're all just candids of friends and stuff. Not expanding my photography or anything. But I guess it's okay, because it's my senior year and I'd rather capture memories right now. I keep telling myself that I'll shoot some new things but the truth is that I don't have any ideas and the passion isn't there right now. I don't really know what passions I have right now. I'm not writing, I'm not taking photos, I'm not really thinking on a regular basis. I kind of just sit on my bed and watch movies and all my thoughts are revolved around that. I don't know, maybe I'm in a funk and I need to find a way out of it.

Anyways, these are some film photos from September to December. I haven't shot any film since then because I thought I lost my camera. . . . (The ones of me are shot by Becca)

I only shot two rolls of film the past summer so that was a downer but whatever. This is from my regular point and shoot film camera which I exposed to light because I'm stupid and forgot to rewind it. In my defense, it was my second time using that camera s--what am I saying, it was an amateur mistake but life goes on. Fun summer things between the crap of a summer I had.

motivation

Sometimes I like to yell at myself for not taking as many photos anymore and go through my documents and look at all the shoots I did and how proud I actually am of them. I compiled all my favorites (digital, film, instaxs, etc...) and am posting it here as a sort of motivation for myself to get my shit together. I haven't done a planned shoot since August with Becca and I don't really count that so actually it was July that I last shot with a clear intention of what I wanted in the end. Oye, I just haven't shot much this year and that makes me sad.

I know what's missing in my life, though.
